Sound familiar?

You made the group chat. We'll make the trip.

You've got the friends. You've got the dream destination. You've got twelve people saying “I'm down.” Now you just need dates everyone can actually make.

Can we finally just book it?

How it works

Five calendars. One plan.

Everyone adds their own time off, privately. We do the overlapping.

02

Find your dates.

Everyone adds their own PTO, employer holidays, work schedule and constraints — privately. We surface the windows that overlap.

01

Connect your people.

Add friends by username or share a private trip link. Friend connections need both of you to say yes.

03

Make it happen.

Vote on the dates, lock them in, and track who has requested time off. Destinations and booking come next.

Solo first? Sure.

More vacation. Fewer PTO days.

Discover smart long weekends and longer escapes around the holidays you actually get off. No account needed.

Turn 12 PTO days into 31 days off

  • Thanksgiving weekWed, Nov 24 – Sun, Nov 281 PTO → 5 days
  • Fourth of JulyThu, Jul 1 – Mon, Jul 52 PTO → 5 days
  • Holiday breakTue, Dec 21 – Sun, Dec 263 PTO → 6 days

Results depend on the holidays you tell us your employer observes. We never assume federal holidays are days off.

Private by default

Turns out your friends can get away.

Each friend's calendar stays private. The group only sees which date ranges work and roughly how much PTO they'd take — never anyone's balance, blocked dates or reasons.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Destination ideas and booking links are next on our list. When prices arrive, they'll always say where they came from and when.

Is outofoffice. free?

Yes. Planning your PTO and coordinating a trip with friends is free.

Can my friends see my PTO balance or personal calendar?

No. Your balance, holidays, blocked dates and notes stay private to you. Trip members only see group-level results like “5 of 5 can make it” and the group's total PTO cost.

Do my friends have to work at the same company?

No — that's the point. Everyone sets up their own work week, PTO and employer holidays.

What if my company has different holidays?

You choose exactly which holidays your employer observes, and you can add company-specific days and closures.

What if I have unlimited PTO?

Tell us how many days you realistically plan to take and, if you like, a per-trip limit. We'll work within that — we can't know what your manager will approve.

Can I plan without inviting friends?

Yes. The PTO planner works on its own, without an account.

Do you book trips directly?

No. We help you agree on dates. Bookings will happen with travel partners, and we'll always say so — including whenever a link may earn us a commission.

Are travel prices live?

We don't show prices yet. When we do, every price will be labeled as an estimate or a live quote, with its source and time.

Can my friends join without a subscription?

Yes. Joining a trip is free; they just need a free account so their availability stays theirs.

This time, we're actually going.

Free to plan. Takes about two minutes.
