Terms of service
Effective October 22, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and [LEGAL BUSINESS NAME] (“outofoffice.”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using outofoffice., you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service. Our Privacy policy, Pricing & refunds and Cookie policy are part of these terms.
Who can use it
You must be at least 16 and able to agree to these terms. outofoffice. is offered in the United States. One account per person. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us right away if you think someone else got into your account.
What outofoffice. does, and doesn’t
- It suggests days off and group trip dates based on what you and your friends enter. The suggestions are only as accurate as that information.
- It doesn’t know what your employer will approve. Holiday suggestions are not a promise of paid time off. Always confirm leave with your employer before you book anything.
- It isn’t a travel agent. We don’t sell, book or hold travel, take payments for travel, or show travel prices. You book with travel companies yourself, under their terms.
- outofoffice. is in beta. We may add, change or stop features. If we stop a paid feature you’ve paid for, see Refunds.
Paid features
Some trip features cost money. Prices, automatic renewal, cancelling and refunds are explained in Pricing & refunds, which is part of these terms. There are no hidden fees: the price you see before checkout, plus any sales tax shown there, is what you pay.
Your content
What you put into outofoffice. (your calendar, trip names, notes, photos) stays yours. You give us permission to store it, process it and show it to the people you choose, only to run the service for you. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from short-lived backups. If you make a shared plan link, anyone you give the link to can see what it shows.
Only upload what you have the right to share. Don’t put other people’s private information into notes or trip names without their permission.
Using it fairly
Don’t:
- harass, threaten or impersonate anyone, or send friend requests or invites as spam;
- upload anything illegal, hateful or sexually explicit, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights;
- try to see other people’s private data, break or test our security without permission, or get around rate limits or payments;
- scrape the service, create accounts automatically, or resell it.
We may remove content, or suspend or close accounts, that break these rules. If we close your account for a reason other than a serious or repeated violation, we’ll refund the unused part of a yearly plan.
Honest marketing
We don’t publish fake reviews, testimonials, endorsements or user counts. Examples on our website and in the demo are labeled as examples. We don’t currently show booking links or earn commissions. If that changes, we’ll label those links clearly (see the Affiliate disclosure).
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Profile. This deletes your data as described in our Privacy policy and cancels any yearly plan right away.
Disclaimers
outofoffice. is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these terms. In particular, we don’t promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that date suggestions will suit you, or that your employer will approve any leave.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed trip, non-refundable bookings or lost wages. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and $50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
Disputes
If something goes wrong, email us first at support@mail.projectoravelle.us. Most problems can be fixed quickly. These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING STATE], United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Either of us may bring a claim in small claims court where it qualifies.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll email you at least 14 days before the change takes effect and update the date at the top. If you keep using outofoffice. after that, the new terms apply. If you don’t accept them, you can delete your account, and we’ll refund the unused part of a yearly plan.
